In-Stat: Enterprises Say Economy Hurting VoIP Adoption

On a day when all major tech stocks but one were trading in the red, research firm In-Stat released a report showing the sickly economy will slow VoIP growth.

That leaves room for increased adoption, especially as more companies use voice-enabled IM systems, to which younger workers are partial.

In its latest findings, In-Stat discovered 32 percent of enterprises say the economy has hampered their VoIP deployment plans.
