Pangaea Hires VP, Channel Head

Pangaea Networks, a provider of metro Ethernet transport services in the New York Metro market, announced that Kevin Black has been appointed to lead the company’s business development unit. In his role as vice president of business development, Black will focus on expanding Pangaea’s on-net footprint throughout the New York Metro Area and will be responsible for growing the channel sales division, recruiting top agents and master agents.

Black has more than 10 years of industry experience in last-mile transport solutions within the wholesale carrier and enterprise space. Most recently, Black served as Qwest Communications’ product specialist for the Northeast region, where he was named one of the top three performers in the nation for 2008.
