Sprint Launches Wireless Integration

Sprint Nextel Corp. has launched Sprint Wireless Integration, a product that extends premise-based PBX features and functionality to mobile phones.

Sprint Wireless Integration, which is built within the companys IP IMS architecture, provides users with one phone number that simultaneously rings both the desk and mobile phones with one converged enterprise voice mail inbox. It also extends PBX features such as conferencing and call forwarding to mobile phones.

Sprint Wireless Integration is currently available to businesses with Avaya Communication Manager enterprise telephony PBX. Sprint will be announcing support for similar solutions with other major PBX providers in early 2007.
