Front Porchs ISP Subscriber Communications Platform Expands Into Wi-Fi Market

Front Porch Inc. (Booth 205), a global provider of technologies for online subscriber communications, announced it has a new wireless version of its Web-based communication and messaging platform for deployment in Wi-Fi hotspots.


Our solutions help ISPs leverage their Internet infrastructure and utilize it as a cost-effective customer service and marketing tool, says Zach Britton, Front Porchs CEO. Our expansion into the Wi-Fi environment gives ISPs partnering with Front Porch the ability to offer small businesses a broadband solution that includes a wireless hotspot equipment package bundled with revenue-generating services.


ISPs use Front Porch technology to deliver personalized online messages to subscribers. Content and messages are delivered directly to subscribers browsers more cost effectively than e-mail notifications, call centers and direct mail. The server-based solution is not dependent on browsers or cookies, is easy to deploy, and accommodates all subscribers. Any content that ISPs currently are sending or would like to send to their subscribers can be delivered cost effectively directly to the designated subscribers while they are browsing anywhere on the Web.


Customers such as Heart Rock Cafe use the PorchLight to ensure acceptance of terms of service, set users start page and deliver messages and promotions that increase revenue and customer loyalty, says Raul Vaughn, director of strategic services at Front Porch.
